Now, I don’t want to tempt fate, but it seems as if we might have found a home for our new Yoga, Pilates & Complementary Therapies Studio in Wishaw.
And this has put me in a tail spin. Or it would have, if I hadn’t already downloaded my “2015 Create Your Shining Year workbook & calendar” from Leonie Dawson! Click on the link to grab your copy (you can choose the Life or Biz version, or both like me).
Instead of panicking I am getting organised and am now planning activities for next year which will include new online and offline training courses and I’ll tell you about these soon.
In the short term I have some training of my own to do. Next week, I’m getting qualified in Facial Techniques so that I can offer facials as well as massages at the new Studio. And next month I’m venturing to Newcastle to train as a Pilates Reformer Instructor!
In case you’re wondering what a refomer is, Gaiam’s website says:
To some, reformer equipment might resemble a torture apparatus, looking like a single bed frame but with a sliding carriage and adjustable springs to regulate tension and resistance. Cables, bars, straps and pulleys allow exercises to be done from a variety of positions, even standing. The resistance created by the pulley and spring system can provide a more challenging strength and endurance workout than mat classes. It may also produce visible results sooner — arm, leg and abdominal muscles can look more firm and defined within a dozen or so regular sessions.
I am so excited about this training as I believe it will progress my Pilates career even more. Expect to see Reformer classes in the new studio in 2015!
So, what about you? What are your plans for the rest of the year? And 2015?? Let me know over on Facebook.
