Karen Howie first discovered yoga classes (Iyengar) in 2007 after 20 years of participating in her love for Aerobics and Step. Following this new found practice and discovering how yoga could help her with niggling injuries she had attained over the years, she started attending workshops and weekend yoga courses to delve deeper into the world of Yoga and the different styles.
In 2009 she completed her Hatha Yoga Diploma with the Devon School of Yoga. Loving the benefits that Yoga offered her she decided to leave the world of pounding her body through Spinning, High Energy Aerobics, Step & Weights behind. She completed her Ashtanga Vinyasa certification in 2012 and Advanced Ashtanga through Rocket Yoga in 2013 with It’s Yoga Thailand.
Karen has been studying and practicing Yoga for nearly 10 years and has been teaching since 2009. Her teaching style blends an appreciation for a strong body, a love of movement, flowing breath and a quiet mind. She is committed to inspiring people to live their best life through the practice of yoga.
