After the last couple of weeks and the high of my holiday I was brought back to earth with a bump this week.

The venue owners for the Yoga Studio/Spa we were opening in Wishaw (which we were due to move into NEXT week) have pulled out of the lease and we are now homeless! It’s so frustrating as they have strung us along for three months and now we have to restart the property search. (If you have ANY links to Wishaw property please email me!)

So, it’s back to the drawing board on my complementary therapies career. Instead I am focusing on the training side of my work and I’m thrilled to be back home (again!) this weekend to deliver the first session of the Active IQ Level 3 Diploma in Instructing Pilates Matwork. I know it’s really last minute but if you have a hankering to do this course NOW is the time. I have no idea when I’ll be delivering Pilates Training in NI again and there are a couple of spaces that I could easily squeeze you into. 😉

I have lots of big plans for training but need to start implementing these. Think more online courses, such as the fabulous 21 Day StretchBodyMind Bootcamp, as well as more day-long workshops in a venue that suits you. I would really love your input here. There’s no point me creating something that you don’t want so talk to me. Tell me what you want from me by posting to Facebook or emailing me directly. I read every email and I promise to email you back.

And, after all these years, I am also planning to go back to Children’s Yoga as a trainer with new company Calm Confident Kids. (Have a look at the website and where it says “Glasgow” that means ME!) I trained the Director, Elaine, as a Pilates Instructor last year and she is a real powerhouse. This woman really knows how to implement her ideas and I just had to be a part of her positive energy.

I have to say that, after 8 years of self employment, it is great to collaborate with others and realise that self employment doesn’t mean by yourself employment. I am really keen for more collaboration and who better than with YOU! So, seriously, tell me what you want and in what way we could work together. The crazier the idea the more likely I’ll go for it!

Hugs,
Victoria
