StretchBodyMind works with Private, Public and Community/Voluntary Sector organisations as well as individuals to provide support, information and encouragement to people about the benefits to their health of Yoga, Pilates, meditation, stress management, personal and professional development.
Victoria develops bespoke programmes of activity which incorporate her unique skills in yoga, youth work, health promotion and community development.
Founder and Consultant Victoria Cunningham-Downey (that’s me!) holds an MA Honours degree in English Literature & Sociology and an MSc in Marketing as well as numerous certificates and diplomas in youth and community work, health promotion and training/facilitation. In addition to my academic qualifications I am also a qualified and experienced Yoga Teacher and Pilates Instructor as well as a Teacher Trainer and Assessor and a Mindfulness Meditation Teacher.
Corporate yoga and stress management programmes have been proven to save businesses money in terms of reducing staff turnover, absenteeism, illness and stress leave. I offer a variety of corporate options from lunch-time yoga classes to full-day stress management trainings. All you need is a quiet, comfortable space (boardroom, lunchroom or large spare office). Employees will need to bring a yoga mat and change into comfortable clothing and I do the rest!
