I have been teaching in my new venues for the first time all week and it’s strange to have to carry spare mats about with me all the time!
The venues are lovely – Monday morning’s class in Portadown Golf Club has a quiet energy about it with the dual aspect looking out onto the golf course. I also have a wonderful stage to demo from although I’m more tempted to belt out a tune so I’ve stayed on the floor so far…
Monday night’s class (and Thursday’s) in Mount Zion House has been cold but very bright and the original tiled floor may be hard but it’s clean and really gives you something to concentrate on when doing a balance pose like tree (Monday) or Warrior 3 (Thursday).
And my favourite new venue so far has been Lurgan Golf Club on Thursday mornings with the view over the golf course and Lurgan park lake. It’s simply stunning!
