We got back this week from our 10th wedding anniversary extravaganza in NYC and, as always, we loved it!
Every time I visit I am inspired by the energy and random things I find around every corner of the city. From our very central base beside Times Square we explored the city on foot and by Subway, visiting old favourites like Soho, St Mark’s Place and Union Square as well as new things such as the Highline (an elevated parkway on a former railway line in the Meatpacking District).
This time it was HOT! The hottest and most humid I’d ever experienced. I was very glad of my daily smoothies and iced teas as well as my favourite cooling yoga breath – sitali. Check out how to do it HERE. I also had to finish each day of epic walking with some “Legs up the Wall” pose in our hotel room. Check out what this is HERE.
I was thrilled to come home to an Indian Summer of sorts so will continue with my iced teas and sitali breath for a while and hope that long may it continue.
Now, if you want to tell me what you did on your Summer Holidays(!) feel free to email me back or join the conversation over on Facebook.
